1. End-to-end solutions
For us, the term end-to-end solutions means that the customer receives everything from us from one source. This way our customers have fewer articles to manage and can reduce their planning outlay.

2. Optimum supply capabilities
Our aim is to supply the goods to our customers precisely when they need them. This saves the customer time, space and storage costs.

3. Demanding large and small parts.
These are parts that are to be mechanically processed, but which are not so easy to produce. This requires substantial expert knowledge, flexible employees and machinery that is practically oriented to the customer’s needs.

Glamec AG can look back over more than 30 years of company history, covering development from a small craftsmen business right to a modern company.

Susanne and Hans Glauser initially founded the company in 1988 with the name Glauser Mechanik, at Bassbeltweg 7 in 2542 Pieterlen. 2 years later the company moved to premises at Steinackerstrasse 13 in 3297 Leuzigen, laying the foundation with that for development as a successful family-operated company.

In 1999 the company moved into its own modern building at Industriestrasse 5 in Rüti bei Büren, and with that set a course for production with innovative and future-oriented production methods and processes.

In connection with the move the company changed its name to Glamec AG. In 2012 a second location at Niklaus Wengistrasse 88 in 2540 Grenchen opened its doors, and has since been the company’s main headquarters. In 2015 the location in Grenchen was enlarged with the addition of a storage building.

On 1 January 2019 the second generation (Diego Glauser and Joelle Moser) assumed control of the company.
